This 150,000-sf complex features Holder Tower, a Princeton landmark that looms 145 feet above the campus. Both Hamilton and Holder are Collegiate Gothic residence halls; Madison Hall houses Collegiate Gothic dining halls, a library, a theater, and several historic student halls. This massive renovation project includes structural repairs to the load-bearing, stone-masonry tower; complete restoration of exteriors; and a combination of restoration and modernization of the student residence and dining facilities to meet the university's new four-year residential college plan. All mechanical, electrical, access, safety and data systems were upgraded and threaded through the existing fabric.
