Niagara Community College, located in Sanborn, NY, recently selected EYP to design a new 110,000-gsf, 300-bed apartment-style residence hall. Scheduled to break ground this summer with an expected occupancy date of fall 2008, the new facility will help provide students with a complete living / learning experience. Significantly, many community colleges are following this same trend: with the rising cost of higher education, more families are sending their children to community colleges, and those institutions are responding by introducing student housing on campus. The project win further solidifies EYP’s reputation as a leader and expert in strategic planning and college and university housing design.
