EYP to Conduct Strategic Planning Study
for Harvard University
Continuing a long and successful relationship with EYP, Harvard University recently selected the firm to conduct a strategic planning study surrounding the revival of its twelve undergraduate residential houses. Student life at the university is organized around a house system, and each house provides living, dining, recreational, social, meeting, and study facilities for approximately 400 students. Clustered around the north bank of the scenic Charles River and Radcliffe Quad, many of the houses involve multiple buildings, providing EYP the opportunity to study more than 37 buildings – including many building types, such as neo-Georgian houses from the 1930s and modern buildings from the 1960s and 1970s – facilities comprising more than 2,000,000 square feet.
