EYP’s Federal Hall National Memorial Project
Featured in Traditional Building Magazine
The April issue of Traditional Building magazine featured an extensive profile of Federal Hall National Memorial in New York. The article explores the recently completed EYP renovation of the building while touching on the history of the site as the location of George Washington's inauguration as President. Already in need of a restoration, the tragic events of 9/11 widened the hall’s existing cracks to an alarming degree. EYP’s restoration stabilized the prominent building, and “created opportunities for the [National] Park Service to restore long-concealed lavish ornament and create new galleries and program spaces.”
