Chatham University, located in Pittsburgh, PA, recently selected EYP to conduct a campus-wide planning study, resulting from the university's desire to expand enrollment and acquire land a few miles distant from its existing facilities. The project team will begin gathering information during the summer of 2007, followed by interviews and campus visits in early autumn of the same year. The team is scheduled to deliver the study's findings to the university at the institution's February 2008 board meeting. Since the university's President is a signatory to the President's Climate Commitment, energy conservation and sustainable design will be important considerations as the university considers its future development through this project.
