Robert Kennedy Joins EYP
as Director of EYP/energy
EYP recently hired Robert A. Kennedy, P.E. to serve as Director of the firm's rapidly expanding energy services group, EYP/energy, a fully integrated division that delivers comprehensive energy services to improve comfort and reliability, maximize energy efficiency, and mitigate energy marketplace volatility. Highly experienced, with an extensive track record of successfully delivering effective energy savings solutions to his clients, Kennedy's career successes include helping a large hospital cut energy costs by more than 10 percent annually, and managing an 8-megawatt demand side management (DSM) initiative for an upstate New York utility that involved $40 million in construction with $11 million in utility incentives. He is a registered professional engineer, with certifications current in numerous states, a Certified Energy Manager, and a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers and a charter member of the Association of Energy Engineers. Additionally, Kennedy has presented at numerous industry conferences including APPA, the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, Department of Energy, Rebuild America, and the National Association of Energy Service COs, and he has twice been published in the journal Strategic Planning for Energy and the Environment.
