On June 14th, EYP Principal Scott Goodwill, with Dennis Landsberg of Landsberg Engineering, presented, “Energy Conservation Strategies in Response to Skyrocketing Energy Costs,” at the NASCA (National Association of State Chief Administrators) & NASFA (National Association of State Facilities Administrators) annual conference. The discussion explored cost-effective energy conservation, including the energy study process, benchmarking, and efficiency vs. cost. Using the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority’s funding program as a case study, Goodwill and Landsberg also revealed ways to discover grants and funding opportunities in other states.
