At the recent New Energy Symposium in New York, EYP President and CEO Tom Birdsey and EYP Director of Energy Robert Kennedy served as moderator and panelist, respectively, for the event's energy efficiency panel. Joined by representatives from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, the U.S. Green Building Council, Direct Energy, the New York Power Authority, and IBM, the group explored a variety of topics relating to energy efficiency and sustainability. The following week, an extensive article discussing EYP's 30+ -year history with energy efficiency consulting, as well as a look into the firm's current efforts toward energy conservation through effective building design, appeared in New York daily newspaper, the Schenectady Gazette.
