"Green" EYP Project Featured
in Albany's Times Union
A recent issue of the Times Union (an Albany , NY daily newspaper) featured a lengthy article on the Saratoga Technology & Energy Park , an EYP-designed project which incorporates a wide variety of sustainable design elements. Examples include furniture made from recycled industrial equipment, extensive use of natural light, premium parking spaces for low-emission cars, and showers for people who walk or bike to work. Scheduled for completion this fall, the new 105,000-square-foot building will be the first-ever business park dedicated solely to renewable and clean energy technology businesses, according to the owner, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
