As part of a design-build team with Kenmore Construction of Akron, OH, EYP was recently selected by the University of Akron to serve as design architect for a six-story, student housing facility. The new building will consist of 500 beds within 125 four-bedroom apartments, and will embrace a new stadium that will be designed and constructed at the same time. Additionally, it will serve as a gateway to the campus, and an anchor at its end of Exchange Street, the main corridor between the university and the city. This project marks EYP's third residence hall designed for the University of Akron .
