EYP was recently selected to design a master plan for the Sisters of St. Dominic in Amityville, NY . According to the Owner's Representative, the sisters felt that EYP was "among the finest architects that [they] have ever dealt with". The project will involve developing design documents for the renovation of historic Rosary Hall, as well as preparation of a mechanical and electrical system analysis of the adjoining 60,000-square-foot St. Albert's Hall. EYP's accepted proposal also included incorporation of numerous sustainable features, such as a ground source heat pump system and taking advantage of the Long Island Power Authority's rebate programs.
