EYP Selected To Modernize and Expand
Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind
EYP and Ballou Justice Upton Architects of Richmond, VA , were recently selected to design the modernization and expansion of the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind, the second oldest school for the deaf in the United States . EYP, a firm experienced in designing deaf and special education facilities, will serve as design lead and the expert on learning and living spaces specifically for those who are deaf, blind, or have other emotional or developmental disabilities. The scope of the project involves consolidating existing programs in Hampton and Staunton, VA, the latter of which includes buildings that are listed on the National Register.
