On October 16th, EYP Principal Leila Kamal and Director of Energy Services Robert Kennedy presented, "University of Michigan North Quad Project - My Space/Shared Space," at the Society for College and University Planning's North Central Conference. The session explored EYP?s experience in planning the largest interdisciplinary collaborative living/learning facility in the University's history. Additionally, Kamal and Kennedy discussed methods used to perform the evaluation of design alternatives relative to energy conservation, including Building Information Modeling and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
