EYP-Designed Science Building Holds
Grand Opening Ceremonies
On October 26th, Franklin & Marshall College hosted a black tie gala to celebrate the opening of its new Ann and Richard Barshinger Life Sciences and Philosophy Building. Located in Lancaster, PA, the 105,000-sf building was designed in the revival Georgian style of architecture. Additionally, the interior is reflective of spaces necessary for 21st century science teaching and research, including collaborative discussion spaces, discovery-based learning laboratories, and instrumentation spaces shared between research and teaching laboratories, and is unique in combining scientific disciplines with the humanities to support the study of the mind. EYP provided architecture, engineering, and signage services for the successful project.
