EYP Principal Heather Taylor, AIA, LEED, along with three other industry leaders, presented, "Highly Effective Habits of Business Development Professionals" at the 2007 Build Boston Conference. The interactive session explored practices routinely used by successful business development professionals that allow them to take advantage of key opportunities. The four presenters discussed a variety of topics, including knowing what motivates target clients; developing clients vs. chasing projects; preparing for and knowing when to make the call; and understanding the often unpredictable nature of the industry.
