David Fixler, AIA, LEED AP
Architect
David, a Principal with the firm, has over 27 years of experience in the architectural design of major projects. He has guided the restoration and renovation of significant projects built during the 18th through the 20th centuries and has worked on a broad variety of both new and existing academic buildings. He is a past national and local Director for the Society of Architectural Historians, co-chair of the Technical Committee on Modern Heritage of the Association for Preservation Technology (APTI), President of DOCOMOMO-US/New England, and on the ISC for Registers for DOCOMOMO International, as well as being an active member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Boston Society of Architects. A frequent writer and lecturer on architecture and preservation, David has had his design and written work published both domestically and internationally in such magazines as Architecture, Architectural Record, and Spazio (Italy).
