John Myers, RA

Having worked on over sixteen embassies and consulates for the U.S. Department of State worldwide, John has developed expertise in the unique planning, programming and design challenges that are presented in the design of buildings that represent the United States in foreign countries. John’s projects have included major renovations of historic embassies, master planning for new embassy compounds and the design of new embassy and consulate buildings. John has also developed specialized knowledge in the stringent security requirements of embassies.
He has a special interest in historic preservation and has been honored by the Historic Albany Foundation. He has been a member of the City of Albany; Historic Preservation Commission since its inception in 1988.
