Located at the main entrance to BC's Lower Campus, this new residence hall forms a gateway to this primarily residential precinct.
The 104,000-sf structure houses 322 students in four, six and eight-person suites.
The L-shaped building combines with the existing L-shaped Vanderslice Hall to create a new residence quadrangle. The entrance faces into the Lower Campus, while the overall massing steps inward to the campus from the corner.
Gabled roofs and a combination of brick and locally-quarried rough granite establishes visual connections to neighboring residence halls, the St. Ignatius Church, and BC's historic Middle Campus.
