Freedom Inn Dining Facility
This design-build project, awarded under a contract held by Forrester Construction, consists of design for a new 27,750 s.f., 400-seat full service dining facility, and renovation of the existing 5,000 s.f. dining hall into open office space. The one-story building is designed to integrate with the existing architectural style of the base, characterized by masonry with cast stone trim exterior and a standing seam metal roof. The project was designed using the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's SPiRiT program, an energy design program similar to the USGBC's LEED criteria.
