For more than 75 years The Jackson Laboratory, a non-profit institution, has been at the forefront of discovering cures for human diseases. This transgenic mouse facility expands the capacity of The Laboratory to acquire, develop, and distribute important new models of human disease. The 57,000-sf facility houses the Importation, Induced Mutant Mouse, Mouse Mutant Resource, Cryopreservation and Mutagenesis programs, which support the Laboratory's own genetic research and enable the research of thousands of scientists around the world.
