The Ann & Richard Barshinger Life Sciences & Philosophy Building
While its red brick and limestone exterior suggests Georgian Revival, the interior is decidedly 21st century in technology and programming. Its teaching and research laboratories and collaborative discussion spaces bring together three distinct departments - Biology, Psychology, and Philosophy - to support unique interdisciplinary programs: Biological Foundations of Behavior; and Scientific and Philosophical Studies of the Mind. The building establishes architectural precedent for new campus development while reflecting the college's commitment to cutting-edge research.
