We provided commissioning services for the Millbrook School's new Math and Science Center, currently in submission for LEED Gold certification. The three-story, 24,000-sf facility features a geothermal heat pump system, photovoltaic panels, glazing upgrades, a graywater system, and energy-efficient lighting, all housed within a simple, Georgian-style structure. EYP consultants verified that all HVAC and MEP systems were installed and operating at optimal, energy-efficient levels. In addition to producing a commissioning report, EYP also oversaw the development of operating and maintenance manuals, as well as owner training seminars. Millbrook has a longstanding history of environmental consciousness and hopes to promote green building among other private schools.
